Candidates must meet AXIA Home Care’s employment, screening, and assignment-readiness requirements, including:

• Be at least 18 years of age

• Criminal background screening

• Pre-employment drug screening and participation in required random drug screening

• Health assessment

• TB screening

• Professional reference verification

• Valid driver’s license

• Reliable transportation

• Current automobile insurance

• Acceptable driving record when transporting clients

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors

• Ability to perform assigned caregiving responsibilities safely and follow each client’s individualized plan of care

• Completion of AXIA Home Care’s required orientation, training, and competency requirements prior to client assignment.

All required screenings, clearances, documentation, training, and competency requirements must be successfully completed before a caregiver is assigned to a client.
